Covid-19 Update

We would like to give a brief update of the current situation in Meadowcare Care Home as of 10.06.20 and to reassure you that we are doing everything at our hand to protect residents and staff’s welfare. We are following the national guidelines regarding COVIDi-19 and reviewing our visiting policy on a weekly basis. However, we are not yet able to give an approximate date for the opening of the Home’s doors to visitors as our residents and staff health and safety is paramount to us.

Tests have now been undertaken at Meadowcare – results are back, and everybody has tested negative to the virus.

Over the past couple of months, life has been strange for everybody. We have missed the regular visits from family, friends and the various entertainers that usually come to the Home. This has had a huge impact on the residents and staff. However, we have made up for this by using technology to keep in touch with as many as we can.

We also would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their continuous support, from families and friends, to all the members of staff that have worked endlessly to take care of our residents and to those members of our community who have so kindly donated PPE or sent us their love through hand written notes or food for the staff.

To all of you, we want to say a massive THANK YOU. We would not have made it without you ALL.
