Hello To All Families and Friends of Meadowcare!

We are writing this in the middle of a heatwave but we are the lucky ones as we have the air conditioning on. We have been making homemade lemonade, ice cream, Sundays and fruity knickerbocker glories.

We will always include lots of photos to give you an idea of what we do.

This month we had a day of sea shanty songs, finding treasure and dress up.

We like to bring out the old favourites ie., – our Meadowcare Sweet Trolley. We called around to the bedrooms, a sweet for a song is all we ask and we had plenty of both. So this month, we have a really nice multi-sensory session planned. It’s all about the feet! The clues are sand, water and bubbles. Watch this space!

We do apologise for our Lift Situation! We have been updated that by Mid-September our lift will be up and running. We are ensuring that our resident’s comfort and safety are always taken care of. We have a lot of 1:1 sessions. We also use our conservatory for our activities.

We would also like to greet our July celebrants, Colin and Christina… a Happy Happy birthday!!!
