Another month and, at the beginning, we had sunshine and now, as we write, we have snow! Halloween has been and gone. We acknowledge calendar events as it gives us a sense of where we are at.

We had Guy Fawkes and the history behind the Gunpowder Plot. Elizabeth remembered the poem “November, November the 5th of November”. And yes… another party. Johnny, a regular entertainer here sang Elvis, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash but with a Jazz flavour. We loved it. Maureen loved it especially. We danced, we sang and plenty glamour in the lounge.
